Leadership
your team
can hear.

Most leadership sessions describe what good leadership looks like. This one lets a room feel it. A conductor never plays a note, yet everything an orchestra produces runs through them — and in ninety seconds, standing in front of your team, that difference stops being a metaphor and becomes something they have physically experienced.

That is the moment people are still quoting six months later. Everything below is built around it, at three different depths.

Best for
Conferences, leadership summits, annual kick-offs, offsite openings

Your audience has heard leadership talks before. They have been told to listen more, to delegate better, to trust their people. They agreed with all of it, and changed nothing, because agreement is not the same as understanding.

This keynote works differently. I conduct the room — genuinely, with a baton, with four hundred people who have never played an instrument — and in doing so I hand them a physical memory of what it feels like when one person sets the tempo, when silence is created deliberately, and when a leader stops playing and starts drawing the performance out of everyone else.

Once someone has felt the difference between conducting and playing, they cannot unfeel it. That is what makes it stick when the slides are long forgotten.

What the room leaves with

  • A physical, shared reference point the whole organisation can use afterwards — "we are playing, not conducting" becomes usable shorthand
  • The tempo principle: why the speed a leader operates at is the loudest signal they send, and why it is almost always set unintentionally
  • A working understanding of why the best teams are not the most controlled ones
  • One specific thing each leader will do differently on Monday, named out loud before they leave the room

Tailoring

  • A short call beforehand to understand your organisation, the moment it is in, and what the event needs to achieve
  • Examples and language adapted to your sector
  • Can open a conference or close it — the shape changes depending on which

Length
3 hours, or a full 6-hour day
Group

Format
In person preferred; virtual possible for the 3-hour
Best for
Leadership teams, senior management groups, high-potential cohorts

A keynote changes how a room thinks. A workshop changes how a team works — because we stop talking about leadership in general and start working on the specific orchestra sitting in front of me.

Before we meet, each participant completes a short assessment of how they actually lead. I read the results as a group picture: where the team's tempo is wrong, where silence has disappeared, where five people are interpreting the same strategy five different ways. That picture — not a curriculum — is what we spend the session on.

The three-hour session

  • Built around the single movement your team's results point to most sharply
  • Fits inside an existing offsite or leadership day
  • Ends with each leader committing to one change, in front of the others

The six-hour day

  • Works through all six movements — tempo, silence, rehearsal, interpretation, orchestra, ego
  • Includes the team diagnostic in full: where the leader's view and the team's view diverge, discussed openly in the room
  • Produces a written team picture the group keeps and can revisit
  • Ends with a set of agreed working practices, not a list of intentions

What the team leaves with

  • A shared, honest picture of how they currently lead — individually and as a group
  • Language they can use with each other afterwards without it sounding like management training
  • Named, specific changes with owners, not a workbook that goes in a drawer
  • An optional follow-up session at ninety days to see what actually held

Availability
A small number of engagements at any one time

The higher you go, the fewer people you can think out loud with. Your board wants confidence. Your team wants certainty. Your peers are also your competition. The genuinely difficult question — am I the reason this is not working? — has nowhere to go.

This is a room for that question. Confidential, direct, and built around the specific organisation you are conducting rather than a coaching framework applied from outside.

I keep the number of these engagements deliberately small, because the work only functions if I can hold the full context of your situation between sessions.

Who this tends to suit

  • Founders and CEOs who have outgrown the way they led at a smaller size
  • Executives newly responsible for people who used to be their peers
  • Senior leaders who are effective and exhausted, and suspect those two facts are related
  • Leaders preparing for a step up, who want to change before the role forces it

How it runs

  • A first conversation, at no cost, to establish whether this is the right fit — for both of us
  • An initial assessment of how you lead now, as a baseline to move against
  • Fortnightly sessions, with direct access in between when something cannot wait
  • Reviewed at three months, continued monthly by agreement

What happens next

From enquiry to the room

01

You send a note

The form below, or a direct email. Tell me roughly what you are trying to achieve and when. You do not need a brief.

02

We talk for thirty minutes

No pitch. I want to understand the organisation, the moment it is in, and what would count as this having been worth it. Sometimes that conversation ends with me suggesting you do not need me — that is a legitimate outcome.

03

You get a written proposal

Format, shape, what your people will walk out with, and the fee. One page, no packages, no tiers.

04

We prepare properly

For workshops, your team completes the assessment beforehand. For keynotes, a short call to tailor the material. The session is built for your organisation, not lifted off a shelf.

Practical questions

Before you enquire

Where are you based, and do you travel?

Based in Abu Dhabi, and available across the GCC, Europe and further afield. Fees are quoted excluding travel and accommodation, which are billed at cost where the engagement requires them.

Do you deliver virtually?

Keynotes and the three-hour workshop work well virtually. The six-hour day is materially better in person — a great deal of what makes it work depends on people being in one room, reading each other.

How far in advance should we book?

Two weeks is the minimum, and I can work to it when a date demands it. More notice is better — for workshops it allows your team to complete the assessment and for the session to be built around what it reveals, rather than delivered off the shelf. Conference keynotes are usually fixed months ahead, so earlier is always safer for a specific date.

What does it cost?

Fees depend on format, location, group size and how much tailoring is involved. You will have a clear figure in writing after our first conversation, with no obligation.

Can you work with our specific industry?

Yes. The material is about how leaders behave rather than what your organisation makes, and examples are adapted to your sector before we meet.

What languages do you work in?

Sessions are delivered in English.

Is this connected to the book?

The book, The Maestro CEO, publishes in September 2026 and shares the same six movements. Sessions stand entirely on their own — and copies can be included for participants if you would like.

Tell me what you
are trying to achieve

You do not need a brief, a budget, or a date. A sentence about the situation is enough to start. I reply to every enquiry personally, usually within one working day.
